Do I keep my Airbnb listing?

Absolutely, and you should. Airbnb stays your discovery channel where new guests find you. Your direct site is where they rebook, where your past guests return, and where anyone who Googles your property lands. The two run side by side with synced calendars.

Who owns the website, domain, and money?

You do, all of it. The domain is registered in your name, payments run through your own Stripe account straight to your bank, guest emails send from your address, and your guest list belongs to you. We build and maintain the machine; you own everything in it.

How do guests pay, and when do I get the money?

Guests check out securely with any card through Stripe, the same payment processor behind millions of businesses. Funds land in your connected bank account, typically within about two business days. Stripe charges its standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢), and there are no platform fees on top.

What does this cost me monthly, all-in?

The $50 Care Plan, plus about $12 a year for your domain. That's it: no booking-engine subscription, no commission, no revenue share. Compare that to the 15.5% Airbnb takes on every single booking.

Can't guests double-book my property?

No. Your site and Airbnb share calendars both directions — a booking on either side blocks those dates on the other automatically.

What if I cancel the Care Plan?

You keep your domain, your Stripe account, your email, and your entire guest list; they were always yours, not ours. What does go away is the hosting itself: since we host your site, it comes down 30 days after your final payment. On request, we'll send you a design export of your site (the look and layout as HTML/CSS) so you have something to hand a developer or use elsewhere. The design export doesn't include the working booking engine, dashboard, or automation, since those run on our hosting.

Are you handling my rental business or my taxes?

No, and that's by design. We provide website design, hosting, and technical support only. Bookings, guests, payments, permits, insurance, and taxes remain yours, exactly as they are today with Airbnb. The Owner's Playbook flags what changes (like lodging tax collection) so you and your accountant are never surprised.

How do guests find my direct site?

Past guests are your goldmine: wifi email capture, in-home rebooking cards with a discount code, and post-stay emails all point them back to your site. Add Google (your property's Business Profile and search listing), your social bios, and the Playbook's full marketing guide, and the direct channel compounds every year you own the property.
